Palazzo Reale - Charlotte Salomon. Life? or Theatre?

Charlotte Salomon entrusts the story of her whole life to hundreds of temperas, of which the exhibition presents an extensive anthology. The young Jewish artist from Berlin flew to Nice before being arrested by the Gestapo and taken to Auschwitz where she was killed. Her extraordinary expressiveness reflects her autobiography on the most tragic scenario of the Twentieth century.

The exhibition will be on view until June 25, 2017
