National Museum of Contemporary Art - Benjamin Von Wong: Hyper Realities

Visual artist and photographer Benjamin Von Wong presents a series of hyper-realistic photographs that focuses on the current social and environmental issues by creating images that aim to raise awareness and inspire the viewers. He uses the power of this photographs and social media as a starting point for dialogue and reflection. The three topics presented in the exhibition are related to the environmental impact of the fashion industry, the disposal of electronic waste as well as the excessive use of plastic in everyday life.
At the same time, through a series of videos he unveils the research, design process and special effects behind his photographs that people often mistake as to be a result of digital editing.
